Promoting Workers’ Rights and Social Security Awareness in Bhilwara

Construction workers play a vital role in building our communities and contributing to the nation’s development. Ensuring that they are aware of their rights and have access to social security benefits is essential for improving their quality of life. With this objective, the Shramik Sahayata Evam Sandarbh Kendra, Bhilwara, operated by Gramin Avam Samajik Vikas Sanstha, Ajmer, organized a series of awareness meetings with construction workers in Hatipura, Borda, Kachchi Basti (Sanganer), and Panchwati.

During these sessions, workers were informed about their legal rights and various government social security schemes designed for their welfare. The team provided detailed guidance on free legal aid, the e-Shram Card, Labour Card registration, accident insurance, pension schemes, scholarships for children, maternity assistance, and other welfare benefits available to eligible workers.

The meetings also focused on workplace safety, health awareness, and the process of accessing government services and welfare schemes. Workers were encouraged to ask questions, and the team addressed their concerns while providing practical guidance on how to apply for and benefit from these programs.

The initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to empowering workers through awareness and access to essential services. By equipping construction workers with the right information, the program aims to ensure that they can secure their rights, improve their livelihoods, and build a safer and more dignified future for themselves and their families.

Gramin Avam Samajik Vikas Sanstha remains dedicated to organizing such outreach and awareness programs, helping more workers benefit from government welfare initiatives and promoting a society where every worker enjoys dignity, safety, and social security.
