 Today it is a great opportunity and occasion of joy to Dholpur Unit and our equine owning community participants as the top leadership along with CEO sir from Brooke India and Organization secretary from GSVS are with all of us for the day |
Honorable CEO Mr. Jyoti Dharmadheeran sir, HOP Mr. Ratnesh Sir, SPO Mr. Rajesh Sharma sir, HAHW-Dr. Nidhish Bhardwaj, SVO Dr. Ashish Pratap sir, from Brooke India, And Organization Secretary Mr. Abhay Singh from GSVS have visited our two intervention sites namely Village Kumheri and Garhi Chatola Block Saipau Dholpur.  
Here is below mention some highlights of today's  visit.
1.    They started with the Equine health transect walk and it was done with randomly  6-8 equines. The major focus was with basic health indicators, Hoof management, observation of our intervene/introduced management of rearing practices. During this activity, they interact & verify with equine owners about the Project implemented services and practices they had change and adopted for the better equine welfare. 
2.    Meeting and a healthy interactive discussion with women’s groups “Kaila devi EWG” and “Bajarang wali EWG” kumari, Vaishno Devi women EWG, and Balaji Ashwa Kalyan Male EWG Garhi Chatola.  
I.    Review status saving vs loaning in the group.
II.    Review the status of the livelihood resources and small income generation activities they are doing at their own level for themselves and at group level joint action. 
III.     Review status of benefits by govt sponsored welfare schemes like, Bhamashah, Janadhar, Job Cards, Labour Cards, insurance and Ujjawala, etc. 
IV.     Know women’s roles to Equine welfare at their homes. 
V.    Encourage and motivate women’s multiple incremental savings till the Rs-40/- per day 
VI.    Guide and motivate them to identify and develop as CRPs to some educated and proactive persons for better advocacy to them and facilitate various govt schemes benefits at the village level. 
VII.    They discuss the various avenues for livelihood upliftment  of our equine owning community in future
Observations and action points visit team advised to us:-
a)    Saving Incensement as per their best capacity till the Rs-40/- per day by an individual or with the vision of the 6 lakh within 3 years at the group level. 
b)     Identify and introduce the best additional livelihood resources as per their capacity for individual or group level with a business plan like goatery, Dairy and stitching center etc. 
c)    Development of CRPs as thematic for the best advocacy, facilitation, and help for Govt welfare schemes, Animal Rearing practices and other upper-level institutions. 
d)    To apply and avail the actual benefit of the labour cards scheme, and other benefits of the govt schemes. 
e)    Adoption of best practice of hoof caring and farriery service, develop more, efficient and well-trained farriery in the sites.    
All of the members from visited team encourage, motivate, facilitate and guided us to focus on the targeted action points for better and effective outcomes from our project activities in term of equine welfare and IGA.
